Strike a power pose.

A quick and easy way to boost your confidence before a big interview is to do “power poses” in a mirror. By standing up straight with your shoulders back, or practicing your form for those initial handshakes, you’ll not only be able to work on your form for critical moments, but you’ll also start seeing yourself as empowered and in charge of the situation. Another great power pose is to tilt up your chin and put your hands on your hips like a super hero to make yourself feel invincible. Sound silly? A Harvard Business School professor developed the technique and her body-language-boosting methods are now practiced by some of the top executives around the world.
