Do you have a strong Sales Background working with retail companies as it relates to home goods or perhaps the industrial and commercial building industry? This position would have you based out of Nashville focused on developing and executing effective strategies for product sales across all Industrial and Commercial product lines to identified Vertical Market End Users, identified Key Accounts, and Regional Distribution customers. Here are some Must Haves we are looking for in a qualified candidate: BA or BS required. Minimum 5-years professional sales or marketing experience preferred. Must have proven sales experience calling on key accounts with emphasis on the industrial and commercial building industry. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are necessary with an ability to quickly develop relationships with all levels of customers. The incumbent should possess an aggressive approach to all stages of follow-up with customers. Strong administrative skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently are also required. Is willing to commit to an annual quota and have his/her performance measured against the committed quota (sales and Gross Margin) â?¢ Travels extensively throughout the territory to call on current and prospective customers across all categories and all channels of distribution. â?¢ Analyzes current programs and product trends in the marketplace and helps provide critical input into the design of new strategies, programs and products across all categories. â?¢ Works with Marketing to suggest customer specific and/or marketplace product development opportunities. â?¢ Gains an in-depth knowledge of our products and has the ability to create and conduct customer presentations, trade show displays, Lunch and Learn presentations or key product demonstrations, using samples or catalog, and emphasizes salable features. â?¢ Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for order obtained. â?¢ Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from trade magazines, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet web sites, and other sources. â?¢ Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firmâ??s production and delivery schedule. â?¢ Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts. â?¢ Works with inside sales representatives to keep account activities and literature up to date. â?¢ Tracks stock levels and has input on forecasting and the PSI process. â?¢ Coordinates customer training and development of such. â?¢ Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database. â?¢ Develops and maintains relationships with purchasing contacts, and representative agency personnel. â?¢ Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries. â?¢ Attends and manages trade shows.
