Initiate and implement quality improvement activities to raise the performance of the Business unitâ??s product lines, educate and train employees as to their impact on the quality management system, and provide strategic direction and leadership for quality systems implementation for the facility. RESPONSIBILITIES --- Perform RCA and other problem solving activities to identify effective corrective actions and process improvements. Investigate and direct the response to customer and consumer complaints. --- Coordinate the PPM metric for reducing credits as a percentage of sales. --- Ensure the implementation of Quality Assurance systems to ensure that WIP and finished goods specifications are met and that product shipped to customers is within specification.
