Under general supervision, the medical assistant works with all members of the departmental health care team providing assistance to patients, and nursing staff with direct and indirect patient care, ensuring smooth work and patient flow within the department. Compensation depends on experience. Company offers a 5% pay differential for all hours worked in the Float Pool. This position also has a $1000 sign on bonus! Schedule will vary to include shifts Sunday-Saturday covering all operating hours, averaging 40 hours per week Qualifications: Education: Minimum: Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program. Credentials: Minimum: Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) through the Washington State Department of Health, Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers (through the American Heart Association). Experience: Preferred: 1 year of previous Medical Assistant work experience.
